After having your car painted, the last thing you want to have happen is anything that might wreck its beauty. It’s going to take some effort, but there are some important steps you should take to preserve your car’s paint:

Be smart about where you park. Park in a garage or under a carport if you can. Staying out of the elements is the best way you can preserve your paint. Dirt, debris, and sun damage can quickly erode your lovely exterior.

Wash your car often. When you wash your car, you get rid of all that grime eating away your paint. Just make sure you use a non-abrasive sponge when you clean your car and dry as thoroughly as you can. Water spots are bad for paint, just like the dirt you cleaned off.

Wax your car. Waxing your car is the perfect way to shield your paint from the elements. Try not to skip this important step!
